The Power Of A Question, Questioned

Questions, questions, questions… Where do I begin? How about with a question?

How important are questions in your life?

Do you recognize the great importance of them? Do you acknowledge that the right question surpasses the right answer? Do you realize that the right question can change a person’s life?

But, let’s back up a bit.

What is a question?

Is it a doubt spoken? An objection to the information provided? A way to bring something into consideration? A way to bring it, whatever ‘it’ is, under the microscope?

Or is is harsher than that? Is it more comparable to an interrogation of belief? A denial of factuality? An interview of truth? A suspicion of accuracy?

Is asking the right question an art form? Art’s aim is to provoke right? Art’s aim is to push you to see the world differently right? Doesn’t the right question do that? Doesn’t the right question provoke? Doesn’t the right question push your boundaries? Doesn’t the right question pull the rug of certainty out from under you?

The right question is powerful.

The right question can whisper madness in one word (Why?). The right question can make one retrace every step the’ve ever taken (How?). And, the right question can lead to new, world altering discoveries (What?).

For the right question does provoke. The right question does push boundaries. The right question does change lives. The right question is dangerous… Yes, the right question is indeed quite powerful.

What’s your question?

Asking the right questions is the reason why I’m at where I’m at in life. Challenging the assumptions of what I thought was real made me into who I am today.

    Questions, I salute you.
